“Winter Blues Got You Down?” I was watching the morning news the other day and I heard the anchor person declare that ‘today’ was the ‘saddest day of the year’. Evidently June 17th is the happiest day of the year. Really? I want to know who gets paid to make such assessments and better yet, why? I’ll be my own judge of when and where my emotions flare thank you very much! With that said, I will admit that this…
Learning with Mustangs
Horsemanship is not merely a matter of bodily skills, but is based on scholarship and, therefore, is a matter of the mind and intellect. Good horsemanship is based on proper character development and, therefore, is also a matter of mentality and spirit. Without the correct attitudes and insights, there cannot be the right sport.~Charles de Kunffy For the past two weekends Next Level Horsemanshipâ„¢ was given the opportunity to showcase our diverse horse knowledge, experiences and training program with our…

Recently we had the opportunity to do both when Next Level HorsemanshipTM was invited by Centre County Reads, Schlow Centre Region Library, to showcase our mustangs at two events they were hosting. They were reading the book Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls which has material about mustangs in the content. Pat Griffith of Schlow invited NLHTM to give a talk to the reading group at the library…
