Local Exhibitor to Compete in NRHA Adequan® North American Affiliate Championships
National Reining Horse Association member Brooke Myers of Port Matilda, PA has earned the right to compete in the NRHA Adequan® North American Affiliate Championships scheduled to take place during the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City, Okla. from November 28 through December 6.
Myers will be competing against more than 500 reiners from across North America aboard American Quarter Horse “Ready Spook” in the NRHA Youth 13 & Under North American Affiliate Championship class.
The NRHA Adequan® North American Affiliate Championships are for qualified NRHA members and their horses only. Entrants qualify for the Affiliate Championships through their respective Regional Affiliate Finals. Each Finals sends its eight highest placing riders, plus ties, to the Championships. The NRHA Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show attracts exhibitors and spectators from around the globe and includes a trade show, three NRHA/Markel Insurance horse sales, an intercollegiate judging contest, youth activities, and many more activities geared toward enjoyment for the whole family.
During its 9-day run, the NRHA Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show contributes nearly $67 million to the overall Oklahoma City economy. Exhibitors will compete for more than $2 million in purse and prizes.
